Aggregate Recycling
Through our commitment to the three Rs – reduce, reuse, recycle – we and our customers make beneficial use of hundreds of thousands of tonnes of concrete and asphalt rubble every year. By managing concrete and asphalt rubble on our construction sites and using our construction yards as recycling depots, we have achieved a leading position as a producer of quality recycled granulars. These products meet all Ontario standards and are used as approved road base on Ministry of Transportation of Ontario and municipal projects or sold to other construction contractors. In addition, our hot mix asphalt plants use recycled asphalt aggregates for a portion of their needs, reducing the consumption of virgin materials.
Asphalt Paving

We also use the most innovative and efficient asphalt paving equipment on the market, operated by the most experienced asphalt paving crews in Ontario. We can co-ordinate all aspects of construction and guarantee the highest quality production to ensure that paving projects, no matter their size, are completed on time and within budget.
Concrete Paving
We are the largest concrete paving contractor in Canada, with in-house policies and programs that exceed industry standards. Our reputation for quality and innovation is Canada-wide and we have been entrusted with completing projects at our nation’s largest airports and most-traveled highways.
Our company maintains a fleet of high-end paving equipment, including portable concrete batch plants, paving trains, placers and pavers. This, in combination with the highest grade of raw materials and access to a team of specialized experts ensures that all paving projects, regardless of size, are completed professionally and efficiently. Our current projects include construction of the largest concrete paving runway in Canada (14,300 ft).

Snow Removal
We have the people, equipment and expertise to ensure that snow removal at large scale sites is done with precision, efficiency and within very specific time constraints. Our specialized employees are kept up to date with the latest Health & Safety training certifications and that each piece of equipment is properly maintained. With our high equipment to employee ratio, we can handle any snow removal need.
Since the beginning of our longstanding relationship with the Greater Toronto Airport Authority, we have cleared and de-iced over 1,200,000 square miles of airport aprons and gates. Our efficiency has contributed to keeping the airport safe and operational during even the worst snow storms, resulting in fewer cancelled flights.
Slipstone
Dufferin Construction Company is proud to have partnered with Slipstone Inc., USA to introduce a ground-breaking new technology for incorporating aesthetic elements into slip formed walls: The Dufferin Slip Stone Extruded Wall System.
This innovative, proprietary system uses a textured, rubberized mould wrapped around a roller attachment that fits onto a standard slip-forming machine.
The system adapts to your requirements by providing customized patterns and colouring options. The patterns can also be impressed onto both sides of a slip formed wall providing an all-around aesthetic appeal.
Granular Sealing and Tack Coat
Dufferin Construction offers Granular Sealing and Tack/Bond Coat services with state of the art technology. All trucks are electronic metered and provide even distribution of the material.
Surface Treatment, Chip Seal and Fog Seal
